Daniel Sainburg, DO is an interventional spine and pain physician who is specialized in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Sainburg trained as an Interventional Physiatrist, completing a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Following residency, he completed the Pain Medicine fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology at UNC, where he had extensive training in interventional and non-interventional treatments for a wide variety of pain conditions. Dr. Sainburg treats an abundance of different pain conditions and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of back and neck pain as it relates to the spine.
Dr. Sainburg’s approach to pain management and patient care is to meet the unique needs of each patient. He is committed to a safe and comfortable experience and to providing the best possible outcomes for his patients. He has extensive training in both non-interventional and interventional techniques including fluoroscopically guided spinal and non-spinal injections, ultrasound guided injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Sainburg was born in central New Jersey and grew up predominately in State College, Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree at Penn State University and his medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Sainburg enjoys traveling, watching sports, bike riding, and spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the Yankees, the Buffalo Bills, and Big Ten Football.
