Leon Galante was raised in West Palm Beach, FL and went to High School in Toms River, NJ. He received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Leon joined the Peak Performance Physical Therapy team in 2005. He is the Director of Rehabilitation for all Peak Performance Facilities.
Leon’s Physical Therapy training consists of orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological, and sports performance rehabilitation. Leon received certifications in Golf Performance, Blood Flow Restriction, Kinesiotaping, and Sports Performance Training. Leon worked with the AVP Tour (Association of Volleyball Professionals) since 2005. He has served as the Medical Director for the AVP Belmar and Seaside Heights NJ Volleyball Tournament in 2007 (Seaside Heights), 2008, 2010, and 2012 (Jose Cuervo Belmar Open). He also organizes the pre and post run support for participants in the Annual Turkey Run in Manasquan NJ.
He enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and golf, and watching his beloved soccer team Juventus F.C.
